Catch the Last Grrriiiinddd
I’ve quit the band, I don’t know what else is going on, but it’s fair to say that at least my chapter with it is done. Thanks to everyone who made the shows worth playing, and made this band memorable for me. Many thanks to the wonderful bands/people we’ve been able to experience and create music with; UPLIFT, CREEPER, ALASKAN, BLACK FAXES, COUNTERPARTS, the wonderfully delightful MATT CUTHBERT & the inhabitants/co-conspirators of BROHAUS, SIESTA NOUVEAUX, & SOYBOMB.
Stay tuned for future developments, maybe that last batch of recordings we did will wind up somewhere for someone; you can contact me for the mp3’s at terminalnation@gmail.com if you really want ‘em for your portable music device.
Yours,
C.R.L.
Stuff is going on!
We’ve been semi busy finishing off the new songs and what not. Playing a couple of shows here and there, one being at a new Toronto venue called Parts & Labour with Raw Nerves! The venue was really cool, as were the people in Raw Nerves! We had a lot of fun even though we got home late. Some of us later than others…
Anyways, we’ve got a new release coming out soon and we are all really excited about it. I think it’s going to be ready for A Mountain Far fest with out friends in Creeper and Cope. Try and make it out for that. It’s going to be an awesome night.
Love,

Busy week.
Since last Sunday, we have driven to Ottawa to play a show, and to Windsor to play another show. More driving than I’d like to admit to doing, but at least we got to see a bunch of friends, and party with the kids in Alaskan and Black Faxes. Check out those two bands if you like anything heavy.
Tim showed me the completed tracks from the new demo a couple of days ago and they are sounding awesome. Pretty sure we will have some real tapes done for this. We’ve also been talking about doing a cool little split with a very loud band. More info coming soon.
We need to update this more.

Lately…
Hanging out and playing some radical shows with some radical bands has been radical. We have been privileged to rip it with ALASKAN a few times in the last week or so, and they are some good ass dudes, with some good ass tunes. Same goes for the idiots in BLACK FAXES, unreal band, unreal dudes, and they love to get nude and shoot fireworks.
Always looking to play more shows, anytime, anywhere, so message us at bottomfeederkw@gmail.com if you have anything free that you’d like to see us on!
New songs REAL soon.

Not related to anything Bottomfeeder, though I sort of wish it was. Just thought I’d share with you how fucking amazing this split was.
Being a diehard CL fan, I’m disappointed that the Love don’t do more fucking gnarly tracks like this. It’s no Reaping the Whirlwind, let alone Can’t Waste Death, but Love delivers some fine songwriting. Lyrics are pretty straightforward CL territory - humanity is a plague. But like the rest of CL’s lyrical content, there’s no cheese, and it retains a sort of bleak acceptance of our blight. Gnarly stuff.
Being unaware of Gehenna prior to this split, I’m pleasantly surprised and stoked on their contribution, even if the title is sort of juvenile. Lyrics make it seem more legit, but I can’t get into (many) bands that take drug-analogies seriously. Musically, it’s solid, but the California Love side just rips harder for me. Personal bias, I suppose.
The music on both sides compliments each other perfectly, definitely a case of great minds putting fucked up noise on the same slab of vinyl.
Check out/buy the record from the fine folks at A389.
Oh, and I’ve nothing to update you in regards to the new tracks. We got ideas floating about like the bongsmoke that permeates the other side of our jamhall, but nothing solidified.
last day in the studio today, recordings should be in our hands and ready for you by tomorrow.
